Den Sorte Skole
"Den Sorte Skole" (the black school) is a Danish DJ team that has done several live performances featuring the following setup: 3 DJ's, 4 decks, 3 mixers and a pile of dope records. I have never heard them performing live but this week I have been listening quite a lot to their promo CD. Their mission is to give new life to classic tracks and to bring a live feeling to the mix.
There are mixing artists like: Jurassic 5, Bjorn Svin, Bob Dylan, Gang Starr, KRS-One and Gorillaz.
I have to say, these guys are wicked.
I can't give you any samples but keep an eye on www.densorteskole.net they might put out something. If you happen to be in Copenhagen go see them live at Stengade 30 23rd and 24th of March or get free food and a mixtape the 20th, 21st, 22nd March.

der står da ikke noget om at de "spiller" d. 23. og 24. på stengades hjemmeside?

Jeg har lige kontaktet en af de her home boys fra Den Sorte Skole. Den er god nok, de spille helt sikkert d. 23. kl. 23.00. Mad og mixtape-hygger er fra kl. 20.00.
