Ramones 30 Year Anniversary
2006 is the 30th anniversary for a spectacular musical revolution. This year it's 30 years ago the first album, Ramones, came out as a fist in the dark. Four brats from Queens, NYC, had found a simple but sublime recepi of feeble-minded lyrics and speedie songs and by that gave punk to the world.

With regards to the Ramones, there was a character in the movie "SLC Punk" who said about them (the Ramones): "they did it harder, faster and louder then anyone else"
I may not have that quote just right, but close enough.
