I have been offline for two weeks - and I serious can't believe that no one has linked this guy. Matisyahu is a hardcore hasidic jew who has made the tightest Reggae/Hip-hop album I have heard in a long time. i saw him live with the roots at a free show at webster hall in nyc back in like 1999- for the filming of a film called 'brooklyn babylon' they had written a song together, that as far as i can tell never came out... but he's around my neighborhood sometimes.
