If you like bands like "Grandaddy" and "Pavement" you should keep an eye out for "Western Suburbs".

Western Suburbs are based in Ripponden, a village in the rural heartland of West Yorkshire. It’s a sleepy place where nothing much ever seems to happen, the kind of place that you pass through on your way to somewhere else. But that’s the way that Western Suburbs like it.

They have a new album comming out "The Borough of Western Suburbs" but until then you can listen to these fine tunes.
