Very close to Canada you will find Portland and in Portland you will find Menomena. Check out the new funny/ scarry video Cough Coughing!
Speaking of canadian music I highly recommend mr. Victor Scott. He will put out his new album on January 9th. You can listen to some tracks here.
I just received an email from one of my absolute favorite artists of 2005 Björn Kleinhenz. In short he promises to stop by Copenhagen for a gig in 2006.
In theese Canadian indie rock times it's cool to discover great bands almost every day. Immaculate Machine from Victoria, British Columbia are todays new thing. They put out their brilliant album, Ones And Zeros, a few month ago. Check out two tracks!
OK - No plans for The Big Night yet? Here's a cool tip for the cool indie dude with a cool budget:
I've earlier bragged about this dude - and to our international audience and users I'm proud to present Mads Langer.
It’s been written on this blog a couple of weeks ago. The new Tiger Lou album “The Loyal” is pretty disappointing. Apart from the album titled single “The Loyal”, there are only half a handful of decent tracks on it. I like “Ten Minutes to take off” though.
The new album from The Strokes has been floating around the Pirate Bay for a couple of weeks. I have been listening to it quite a lot and I have to admit that I like it more and more. In the beginning I thought that it had some kind of a The-Darkness-meets-Foo Fighters-flavour to it. But when you get more into it, its actually a really nice fresh album. The release date has been moved forward to January 2nd because of the pirate leak.If you haven't done so already, check out the video for the first single Juicebox that wasout December 5th.
One of my favourite Swedish bands, David and the Citizens has been signed by US label Friendly Fire. First release is a compilation EP with tracks from earlier releases in Scandinavia. Friendly Fire is also going to release their great album: Until Sadness is Gone. If you don't know the band you should take a listen to some of their songs right here.

Woderful swedish record label Hybris has a new single out by The Kid.

Moby is going to become the first pop star in space. The vegetable eating tree hugger has spent 207.000 USD on a ticket for the Virgin Galatic project.

Today MTV has launched its new online music shop. Later next year MTV is going to join forces with Microsoft in order to create a music shop that can give iTunes and all the other new online initiatives serious competition.

I have been offline for two weeks - and I serious can't believe that no one has linked this guy. Matisyahu is a hardcore hasidic jew who has made the tightest Reggae/Hip-hop album I have heard in a long time. If you think this is a joke listen to these two songs from the album "Live At Stubbs":

The Cardigans has just announced their first gig on their forthcoming tour will take place at VEGA in Copenhagen on the 1st of March. Their latest release "Super Extra Gravity" has really grown on me....actually, I really really dig it!
The former Verve singer Richard Ashcroft will release his new album, Keys to the world, on January 23. Check out the video to the fist single, Break the night with colour, that will be out on January the 9th.
